20 police officers killed after Taliban Islamist Attack a check point in Afghanistan.

       At least 20 Afghan police personnel have been killed after Islamist Taliban lunched deadly attack on check points in Helmand province, Afghan official said. The attack occure on Friday when Taliban ambushed check points in the Musa Qala district. The area was reported to have been under Taliban rule for sometime now according to the head of the province's joint Coordination of police and military operation Mohammed Ismail. The Taliban claimed responsibility of the deadly attacks. 19 policemen were reported killed last month after Taliban Islamist militants attack Helmad's Naw Zad district. The Taliban said they had killef at least 25 police officers and seized a large number of heavy weapons. Afghanistan have been hit with Insurgency after US launched war on the country and overran the Islamist government then.
