Kenya military forces killed 11 suspected Al-shabab fighters in firefight.

Kenya military said its forces had killed 11 suspected Somalia-based al-shabab fighters and suffered two fatal casualties, Kenya military spokesman said Sunday. The spokesman said members of the militants group do not carry any identification documentsto identify them. Al-shabab had vowed to paint the Kenya street with blood after its bloody attack in Kenya Garissa University that killed more than 100 innocent students. Al-shabab is angry with Kenya government for deploying troops to fight A-shabab along side with African Unoin troops. Qatar based Aljazeera news network reported citing its correspondent Catherine Soi, saying the fighter went to another town in the area before the attack, where they preached at a mosque, condemning Kenyan forces involvement in the fight against them in Somalia.
