Roadside bomb kills at least 12 civilians in Afghanistan.

     At least 12 people have been killed after a roadside bomb exploded in Southern Afghanistan, police said. Nabi Jan Mullahkhoul, Helmand province's police chief, says the bomb exploded Saturday afternoon. The bomb blast struck a van in Helmand province's Maijah district. No group immediately claimed responsibility of the attack. The Taliban usually plant roadside bombs to targets government security forces. Taliban attacks had claimed thousands of people including security forcea and civilians. US led calition invaded Afghanistan in 2001 and toppled the Islamist militant government.Since then, the Taliban had carried series of against foreign, local troups and civilians.
