At least 39 killed after Islamist gunmen attack beachside hotel in Tunisia.


  About 39 people lost their lives after Islamist gunmen attack a hotel in the Tunisia Seaside town of Sousse. The attack comes, 90 days after three gunmen shot dead dozens of people at the Bardo museum, The Independent reported. Tunisian officials confirmed the incident was a "terrorist attack". The SITE Intelligence Group reported later that the Islamic State claimed responsibilities for the attack on its Twitter account and said the gunman that carried out the deadly attack was Abu Yahya al-Qayrawani. Russia President Vladimir Putin has extend his condolences to his Tunisia counterpart, saying Russia is ready to cooperate with Tunisian authorities in fighting Islamist terrorist. UK authorities said five Britain tourists were among the innocent civilian killed in the deadly attack.
