Saudi troops intercept Scud missile fired from Yemen.


          Saudi Arabia said it shot down a Scud missile fired from Yemen to its territory on Saturday. " The Royal Saudi Air Defence Force intercepted it with a Patriot missile", said a statement from the Saudi-led coalition. The statement did not state if there were casaulties in the attack which was blamed on Yemen's Houthi rebels. This is the first time the Houthi fighters used long range ballistic scud missile in the conflict. The missile was believed to have fired from Houthi stronghold in Yemen. It happened less than 30 hours after Saudi Arabia said the Kingdom had successfully foiled the biggest attack on its border by Houthi rebels. According Saudi Press Agency dozens of Houthi rebels and four Saudi soldiers were killed in the fighting. Saudi Arabia-led coalition has been bombing Houthi rebels targets in Yeen after the rebel group seized Sana'a, the Yemen's capital and advanced to Southern Yemen's port city of Aden which forced president Hadi of Yemen to fled.
