Suspected Boko Haram gunmen kill 37 villagers in fresh Attack in Maiduguri.

        Suspected members of Boko Haram Islamist militants have killed 37 villagers in a deadly attacks on five villages around the Borno State capital Maiduguri, Aljazeera reported. The Islamist militants were reported to have opened fire indiscriminately on the villagers and burnt houses. The heavily armed terrorists who drove on trucks attacked six communities by shooting sporadically and throwing improvised petrol bombs on houses. A member of a youth vigillance group from a neighbouring town was reported to had spoke on condition of anonymity saying some of the villagers who fled the attack narrated the deadly raid. The attack came after Nigeria and four neighbouring countries of Benin, Cameroon, Chad, Niger and agreed at a summit in Abuja to set up joint regional forces to crushed Boko Haram.
