Ghana petrol station Explosion kills at least 96 people.



      Nearly 100 people burnt beyong recognition in Accra, the Ghana's capital after an explosion in a petrol station which was pack with resident seeking shelter to escaped the terrentia rains that hit the city. Television footage showed corpses being piled into the back of pickup van. Ghana National Fire Service spokesperson Prince Billy Anaglate said a dozen people were taken to hospital after the blast. Disaster management Coordinator at the Ghana Red Cross Francis Obeng said over 70 people were killed in the blast. Prince Billy Anagate told Joy Fm radio that the blast resulted from a fire that broke out at a neighbouring truck stop which then spread to the facility. The country's president has announced three days mouring for those who have died.
