At least 40 killed in suspected Boko Haram Attacks in Northern Borno State of Nigeria.

      About 42 people have lost their lives after suspected Boko Haram gunmen opened fire on villagers. The incident was reported to have taken place in Borno villages of Debiro, Biu and Debiro Hawul, local media reported. Suspected Islamist Boko Haram gunmen arrived at the villages with motorcycles and vehicles and shot dead residents as they tried to fled the area. The armed men was reported to had burnt down homes and after looting them. Boko Haram has killed thousands since the insurgency began. Newly elected president of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari had vowed to crushed Boko Haram.
