55 Iraqi soldiers killed in multiple Islamic State attack in Anbar province.

      At least 55 Iraqi soldiers lost their lives on Wednesday in Iraq when three suicide bombers believed to be from Islamic State who attack a convoy near Fallujah, 50km west of Baghdad in AlAnber province, Qatar based news network Aljazeera reported. Brig. Gen. Saad Maan Ibrahim, the spokesman for the joint military Commander, told AP that the attack took place outside of Fallujah, which is held by Islamic State. It is a major blow to government efforts to dislodge tIslaic State fromthe sprawling Sunni heartland, an Iraqi military spokesman said. The militants struck near a water control station and a lock system on a canal between lake Thatrthar and the Euphrates River where army forces have been deployed for the Anbar offensive.
