Activists say Syria army airstrikes kill 90 in Aleppo.


      At least 90 people have been killed, scores of others wounded in Syria army airstrikes that hit civilian area in the northern city of Aleppo on Saturday. The deaths occured in two seperate incidents when helicopters dropped explosive- filled barrels. One barrel hit the rebel-held Shaar neighbourhood of the city of Aleppo, killing at least 12 people, most of them from the same family, UK based Syria Observatory for Human Right said. The other attack hit a busy market in the Islamic State-held town of al Bab in Aleppo's country side, killing 55 people, according monitoring group. The bodies of those killed were wrapped and laid out on the streets of Al-shaar, with the limp, blood- covered hand of one of them protruding from under a banket, said an AFP correspondent at the scene.
