A 65-year-old German grandmother gives birth to quadruplet.

     A 65-year-old mother of 13, a teacher from Germany has given birth to quadruplets after a pregnancy that was criticized by medical professinlonals because of her age, RTL television reported Saturday. The television station saysthe three boys and a girl were born by cesarean section at a Berlun hospital Tuesday. A spokeswoman for RTL said the babies stood a strong chance of survival but possible complications couldn't be ruled out because they were born in the 26th week of pregnancy. Their mother was doing well, the spokeswoman said. The woman, Anneqret Raunigk, already has 13 children, lives in Berlin, the German capital and is an English and Russian teacher who is close to retirement.
