Gunmen hijack buses in Pakistan, kill 19 passengers.

Unindentified gunmen dressed in security uniform stormed two passenger coaches in southwest Pakistan, killing 19 passengers, official said. "The attackers forced the buses to stop, abducted more than 24 passengers, and then shot dead 19", a senior official in Baluchistan province of Pakistan said. About 15 armed men dressed in uniform of security forces carried out the attack in the town of Mastung near Quetta on Friday, local media reported. Baluchistan Home minister Sarfaraz Bugti said the gunmen let around 50 passengers go and took at least 25 into the mountains. The circumstances of their deaths could not immediately be established, and the motives of the assailants was unclear. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the deadly attack. Separatists have been fighting a low intensity insurgency in Baluchistan, of which Quetta is the capital, for decades.
