The driver and conductor of a private bus were arrested after a woman alleged that she had been molested by a passsenger near Punjab's Khanna town, police said on Monday morning. The woman, who boarded the bus from Sirhind town of Sahnewal near Ludhiana, was molested by one of the co - passengers sat next to her, The new India Express reported. The woman passenger alleged that the man sitting next to her allegedly started touching her inappropriately. He moved to a seat behind her after she protested, but started passing lewd comments at her, according to IANS repirt. The police chased and stopped the bus. The incident took place four days after a 13 - year - old girl was molested and thrown out of a moving bus, resulting in her death.
