Russia stages huge Military Parade to mark 70th anniversary of end of second world war.



       Thousands of soldiers and dozens of tanks rumbled across Red square and hundreds of warplanes and attack helicopters roared overhead Saturday to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of second world war. The victory Day was an opportunity to Moscow to shown off its military strenght in one of the biggest military parade, with hundreds of warplanes, in fly over. Nearly 10,000 soldiers, including an India Army contingent and China's People's Liberation Army took part in the parade on the iconic Red Square which latested for over 90 minutes. Western leaders boycotted the event because of Russia's role in the Ukraine crusis. The event was attended by Chinese leader Xi Jinping and India's President Pranab Mukherjee, Egyptian leadee Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Cuban supreme leader Raul Castro, Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro, Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe and South Africa's Jacob Zuma.
