93 militants, 9 soldiers killed in Afghanistan Army's operations.

         Afghan military operations against Islamist militants have claimed the lives of 93 Islamist militanta and 9 government soldiers, Defense military spokesman said on Saturday. " Over the past 24 hours, 93 militants have been killed and seven arrested in 12 provinces while nine army soldiers died as a result of clashes and bomb explosions", General Zahir Azimi said on his Twitter account. The Afghan security forces have recently intensified operations against the militants group across the country. Local online news website (Khaama Press) reported that nine different types of improvised Explosion Devices were also found and defused by the country's security forces. The Taliban militants group has yet to react to the claim. On  Friday, an Afghan official said that seperate army operations in the northern Beghlan came to end, leaving almost 80 Islamist militants dead.
