Mexico gunfight kills 43 as government hits Cartel gang hard.


       At least 42 people have been killed in Mexico after a deadly gun battle between government forces and suspected  Cartel gang. National Security Commissioner Monte Alejandro Rubido said one federal policeman lost his live and another was injured in the three hour fighting on a ranch just inside Michoacan state border with Jalisco. During the confrontation on Friday, 42 suspected gang gunmen and one federal police officer was killed. Michoacan Governor Salvador Jara said the clash erupted when security forces stopped a suspicious vehicle, prompting its passengers to shoot. The incident is the deadiestin a string of clashes this spring between security forces and Cartel gunmen. Mexico authorities have been fighting a war with the most powerful Cartel gang, Jalisco New Generation for years.
