At least 48 killed, more than 1000 injured After a fresh 7.3 magnitude earthquake hits Nepal.


       At least 48 people killed Tuesday after a major earthquake struck Nepal, triggering landslides and topling buildings less than three weeks after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake left almost 8,000 people dead. Most of the reported fatalities were villages and towns east of Kathmadu. Rescue helicopters were sent to mountainous districts north-east of Kathmadu, where landslides and collased buildings may have left people buried, the government said.  The earthquake had a magnitude of 7.3 compared to the 7.8 of the 25 April eartquake in western Nepal. The latest tremor was aso felt in northern India and Bangladesh. The tremor was reportedly lasted up to a couple of minutes and sent people running outside the capital Kathmabdu and elsewhere.
