Iran-back Houthi rebels shot down Saudi Arabia warplane in Yemen.


      A Saudi F-16 warplane has been reportedly shot down in northwestern Yemen. The Saudi F-16 fighter plane was brought down in Bani Harthi district of Sana'a, the Yemen's capital. The rebels were pictured celebrating with the wreckage of the downed fighter jet which crashed in the district of Bani Harith. " We shot down the plane at 2.15am. Before that, Saudi war planes conducted airstrikes against the rebels in various parts of Sana'a, including the airforce command centre", said Abdul Kadir Munwar, comnander of security Force in Bani Harith District. Sputnik news citing Yemen post newspaper reported that two unused missiles were recovered from the crashed figher jet by Houthi rebels.
