Egypt sentences Islamist Ex-president to death.

Islamist ex-president of Egypt Mohammed Morsi was on Saturday sentenced to death by a Cairo court over a  2011 prison break. Judge Shaaban el-shami refferred the death sentence on Morsi and others to the nation's top muslim theologian or grand Mufti, for final judgement, Egypt media reported. Morsi s already serving a 20 - year prison term for ordering the arrest and torture of protesters while in power as the first democratically elected president of Egypt. Amnesty International immediately condermed the judgement. It says " Morsi sentence shows a complete disregard for human rights". The defendants were accused of plotting jailbreaks and attacks on police, the uprising that overthrew longtime president Hosni Mubarak in 2011. Egypt current government has almost dismattle the muslim brotherhood  party which rule Egypt shortly after the collapsed of Hosni Mubarrak regime and was the party which won the first democratic  presidential election.
