Islamic State fighters seize Government Headquarters in Ramadi, Iraq.

      Islamic State fighters on Friday captured the main government compound in Ramadi, the capital of Iraq's Western Anbar province, after fierce fighting with Iraq security forces., NyDailyNews, reported. Islamic State fighters launched the assault under the cover of darkness late Thursday, leading with a wave of suicide attacks carried out by the fighrers dressed in Iraqi army uniforms. Islamic State fighters seized the government compound in downtown Ramadi  and hoisted the group's back flag. Ramadi is ony 70 miles west of Baghdad and has been the focus of intense fighting between Iraqi security forces and Islamic State fighters for months. Conquerimng the city would be the biggest victory for Islamic State this year.
